Step through the portal into an entrancing evening as the veil thins for Samhain. Channel your inner vampire (or slayer) over hand-crafted cocktails with carefully curated music and visuals to set the mood while you dance in the dark.

Our goal at Portals is to create an immersive audiovisual experience inspired by dark alternative art, film, music, and aesthetics. If one were to be reductive - yes, it is a "goth" night. But more than that, we hope to fill a gap in the Liverpool alternative community that invites people to connect and participate. Whether you have been in the scene since the birth of the Batcave or you just found your mum's old Bauhaus t-shirts in storage, we invite you to Portals to socialize, dance, and escape the horrors of reality for a few hours.

This is intended to be a safe space. To those who believe goth is not political, this is probably not your scene. We are firmly against racism, sexism, fascism, bigotry, xenophobia, homophobia, transphobia, ableism, ageism, Zionism, Islamophobia, hate speech, or any other hateful rhetoric. There is no such thing as "conservative" goth. Goth, punk, metal and other alternative subcultures have always been a rebellion against the grain.
