Shut Up & Write! is a simple, relaxed way to get words on the page — whatever you're writing and wherever you are in the process. Whether you're working on a novel, memoir, screenplay, poetry, articles, a blog, academic work, or simply trying to develop an idea, you're welcome. There’s no workshop, no critique and no expectation to share your work. We meet, settle in, decide what we want to achieve, and then… shut up and write! The format is simple: ☕ Arrive & settle in 🎯 Set your writing goal ✍️ Write — uninterrupted ☕ Take a short break ✍️ Write some more 💬 Chat afterwards if you want to The aim is simply to create a bit of time, space, focus and friendly accountability around your writing. You don't need to be an experienced writer — and you don't need to have anything published. Just bring whatever you're working on and a willingness to write. Come along, meet other writers, and get some words down.
