Andrew Lloyd Webber’s *Starlight Express* will roll into the Liverpool Empire on Wednesday 26 May 2027 at 6:30pm, hot on the heels of a record-breaking London revival. Having been seen by more than 30 million people across the globe, the musical follows a young steam engine’s search for identity and belonging in a world dominated by faster, more modern locomotives. Its performers race around the stage on roller skates, delivering high-velocity choreography that matches the energy of Lloyd Webber’s rock-infused score.
