Supporting a Safer Liverpool

Over the past year, Liverpool Nightlife CIC, led by John Hughes, has delivered a city-wide safety campaign aimed at improving the wellbeing of everyone enjoying Liverpool's nightlife.

Working in partnership with Salamanca Training, more than1,500 night-time economy workers have received life-saving training in:

Defibrillator (AED) use

Catastrophic bleed control

The campaign has also enabled hundreds of city centre venues to join Hopsy, Liverpool's locally developed safety app, providing free staff training in:

Managing incidents safely and effectively

A Special Launch on the Night

As part of the celebrations, we will officially unveil Liverpool's new City Centre Safety Bus. Operating every weekend in the city centre, the bus will provide immediate first aid, welfare support, and assistance to visitors, helping make nights out in Liverpool even safer.
