An award-winning docudrama, telling the story of a little girl, caught in the crossfire of a war and those who tried to save her.

The historic Liverpool Athenaeum, invites you to screening of The Voice of Hind Rajab.

To mark the UN International Day of Peace (21st September), we will host a cultural screening of Kaouther Ben Hania’s Venice Grand Jury Prize-winning docudrama, The Voice of Hind Rajab.

The film tells the story of Hind Rajab and the Palestine Red Crescent responders who tried to reach her and is built around documented events and real emergency call.

This is a licensed cultural screening in the Athenaeum's famous News Room.

The event will be hosted by Proprietor and Board Member, Alex Lennon who will deliver a short opening and closing address.

Attendees are encourage to stay on for drinks and an informal conversation about the film. This is an afternoon ofcinema and reflection. All visitors are welcome.
