Art Journaling is a great way to reflect on your life using your creativity. During this workshop we will explore different ways to do this.

Art for the Soul is hosting this creative workshop on behalf of St Hildeburgh's Church.

Art Journaling can take many many forms, but at its heart is creative play and self expression. An art journal is essentially a sketchbook, a place where you can use whatever art materials you like. Some people use art journaling for relaxation, for fun. Some people have a regular practice where they are recording their life in a visual form. Some people use an art journal to reflect on thoughts and feelings, on joys or difficulties in their life. Some create abstract pages filled with colour and mark making, others draw symbols, others use words and images. There is no right or wrong way to art journal.

During this workshop, we will explore different ways in which you may approach art journaling for personal reflection. Feel free to bring your own art journal if you wish, but mixed media paper will be provided for all to use.

No artistic knowledge or ability is needed, and we'll have a mixture of paints, pencils and pens that you can choose from to use.

Please note that the workshop is being held in the Church Centre, which is at the rear of the church, accessible from the church car park.
