Liverpool University Mountford Hall

Located at 160 Mount Pleasant in Liverpool, Mountford Hall serves as a dedicated space for literary gatherings and festivals within the city's academic community. This venue primarily hosts book fests and cultural events that attract readers, authors, and students seeking an intellectual atmosphere centred on literature and discussion. While specific capacity figures are not publicly listed, the hall functions as a focused environment where festival-goers can engage with new releases and established writers without the distraction of a large-scale arena setting. The acoustic nature suits spoken word performances and panel discussions, creating a suitable backdrop for events like the UK Bookfest that prioritise conversation over amplified music.
