Two years after frontman J. Fender suffered a widowmaker heart attack on a flight from North Carolina to London, Afflecks Palace return with Sunshine Death — a record born from survival, recovery and the strange psychological landscape that follows a near-death experience. Self-produced by the band, it’s their most urgent and uncompromising work yet: a record about confronting mortality, refusing to stand still and choosing to keep moving forward.

After extensive Radio play by 𝗕𝗕𝗖 𝟲𝗺𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗰, 𝗥𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗼 𝗫, 𝗥𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗼 𝟭 and being championed by the likes of 𝗦𝘁𝗲𝘃𝗲 𝗟𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗰𝗾 (𝟲𝗺𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗰), 𝗔𝗻𝗱𝘆 𝗕𝗲𝗹𝗹 (𝗢𝗮𝘀𝗶𝘀/𝗥𝗶𝗱𝗲) 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗥𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘁 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗹𝘆𝗹𝗲 (𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿) have lead to the band performing alongside legends such as 𝗡𝗼𝗲𝗹 𝗚𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗴𝗵𝗲𝗿, 𝗝𝗼𝗵𝗻𝗻𝘆 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗿, 𝘾𝙖𝙨𝙩 & 𝗥𝗮𝘇𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 on tour and at coveted festival slots across the UK.
