Kenji & Helen come together to serve multi course vegetable tasting menu in the beautiful surrounds of Brunswick East's sky garden

Helen Graham and Kenji Morimoto love vegetables and love fermenting them too so had the idea to come together and serve a feast showcasing all that makes our heart sing, on the rooftop of Brunswick East admist their sky garden. Here, Tash and her team grow vegetables, fruit and herbs that often need to be Googled, such is their obscurity.

Tash has given us full reign of her garden. Kenji has given us full access to his fermentation archive. Helen is bringing the ruckus. What more could you want?

From this we will be serving up a tasting menu using all these beautiful ingredients - a celebration of summer bounty, both fresh and preserved.

Starters:

Bread + amba cultured butter

Globe artichoke, miso confit garlic aioli, lemongrass vinaigrette

Ferment Platter:

Cherry tomatoes & horseradish

Rhubarb, sumac, hibiscus

Garam masala sauerkraut

Mains:

Braised courgette, peanut lime tahini, caramelised curry onions, curry leaves, barberries

Roasted turnips, koji chimichurri

Tofu caprese, kumquat ponzu, thai basil + miso salsa macha

Black lime shoestring fries

Dessert:

Apple beignets, strawberry & Sichuan peppercorn cheong, rhubarb cultured cream
