Anna Phoebe is a contemporary violinist creating an exciting space where ancient and modern sounds coexist. Fusing contemporary classical, electronic, folk and Mediterranean influences, her work explores myth, migration, ancestry, female history and the unreliability of memory: what survives, what disappears, and what we invent to fill the gaps.
