About As You Like It 26

As You Like It 26 at the Globe Theatre is a new production of Shakespeare’s As You Like It. It follows Rosalind, Celia and their friends as they leave the Duke’s cold court and head into the Forest of Arden, where the setting opens into joy, music and change.

Co-directed by Sean Holmes and Charlie Josephine, this version is set around live music and the Globe stage becoming a forest festival of self-discovery. The production centres on lust, revelry and love, with hearts opening as the story moves through the woods.

The event is described as a summer production and places the play’s action in the Forest of Arden, with the company’s journey from court to forest at its centre.
