# 🎉 Asians & Gingers in Tech #4 — Friday 6th November! First of all, a **big thank you to everyone who came to our last event!** Another amazing turnout, and I'm incredibly grateful for all the additional feedback and suggestions you've given me. And welcome to our **home every month at The Ship in the City of London!** 🍻 You don't actually have to be South/South East Asian or Ginger to join. The idea is simply to create a place where you can come and meet **South/South East Asians and Gingers in tech**. You're always welcome, and **please bring your friends too!** The more the merrier. ❤️ ## 💬 Join the WhatsApp Group Please join our WhatsApp group so we can keep the conversation going between events, share ideas, and organise things together. 👉 **[Join the Asians & Gingers in Tech WhatsApp group](https://chat.whatsapp.com/Eon15DZXYsbJBGh0D94S7p)** *** # 🎲 WHAT'S HAPPENING? Bring along something you enjoy playing and hopefully we'll discover some new favourites together. ### 💡 Lightning Talks — Upstairs **Led by Stan** We'll have some short, informal **lightning talks** for **knowledge sharing, self-introductions, and networking**. We'll do these **before the karaoke starts, around 7:30pm**, so don't be late! 😆 The length of each talk will depend on how many people sign up, so they'll stay **short and informal** rather than being fixed at a specific length. The more people who want to speak, the shorter each talk will be. There's no need for anything polished or overly serious. Just share something you think the community might find interesting or useful, or introduce us to what you do! Want to give a lightning talk? **Join the WhatsApp chat and let Stan know!** You can also chat with Stan if the
