Babau is an Italian music duo formed by Luigi Monteanni and Matteo Pennesi, exploring the intersection of exotica, computer music, and transglobal sonic subcultures in the post-internet age. With releases on Discrepant, Artetetra and an upcoming work on Impatience, their work unfolds as an ongoing investigation into sound as a vessel for digital myth-making.

NICOLAS GAUNIN

Italian musician and film composer. He is active in the vibrant experimental music scene around Italy, where he plays in the outsider rock groups The Lay Llamas and Orange Car Crash. For several years, he has been publishing and performing live with his solo electronic project Nicolas Gaunin, a playful cosmic mash‑up that draws on traditional African percussion patternsto create off‑kilter, hypnotic grooves. Through collaborations with director Luca Zambolin and Elisa Strinna, he expanded his practice into film scoring, composing soundtracks that merge experimentation and narrative sensitivity.

TOO EARLY/TOO LATE

TOO EARLY/ TOO LATE are melodic funk muted emotional karate core comprising Simne Donadni (Rainbow Island/ Trans Upper Egypt) and Andrea Giommi (Sons of Viljems/ The Glass Key). Pino Donaggio meets Autechre. With guitars. Their debut album blends intricate guitar interplay, broken-machine grooves and cinematic Italian melancholy into something both intimate and disorienting.
