Celebrate Black History Month with Baby Gospel, an uplifting family concert featuring members of London’s CK Gospel Choir. Enjoy soulful renditions of iconic songs from Marvin Gaye, Bob Marley, and Jackie Wilson, alongside traditional gospel classics like Swing Low, Sweet Chariot, nursery rhymes and bubbles! Sing, clap, and dance along as we honour the rich history of Black music, from Motown to gospel, in a baby-friendly concert open to all ages—from newborns to grandparents. “It’s like baby rhyme time but FAR cooler…” The Secret Life Of Mum CK Gospel Choir are a versatile professional group from London who are united by their love of gospel music and have provided backing for artists such as Beverley Knight, Peter Andre and Alfie Boe. Great fun for parents/carers and grandparents too! VENUE & TRANSPORT The Old Church is next to Clissold Park (opposite the larger St Mary's Church) and is the oldest surviving Elizabethan church in London! There is baby changing at this venue, disabled access and LIMITED space to park buggies inside the building (so we always appreciate it if you can bring a sling!). We are unable to offer refreshments at this venue but there are plenty of coffee shops on Stoke Newington Church Street and you're welcome to bring your own.
