About This Event

A fundraiser for Resonance FM Band of Holy Joy, BAG, Storyteller and DJ Biba Kopf come together at the Horse Hospital for a special night in support of Resonance FM. Band of Holy Joy, hosts of Bad Punk on Resonance FM, continue their 83/26 project, recycling and rejuvenating material from their original cassette releases — bringing then into now. https://bandofholyjoy.bandcamp.com/ Experimental spoken-word and electronics trio BAG — Jody DeSchutter, Dan Allison and Angèle David-Guillou — recently released This House is a Body on Phantom Limb, fusing visceral poetry with exploratory production into a beguiling, off-kilter and dreamlike sound. https://instagram.com/bagbagbagsound https://bagbagbagsound.bandcamp.com/ Biba Kopf represents Adventures in Music and Sound, The Wire magazine’s long-running programme on Resonance FM. https://www.thewire.co.uk/ STORYTELLER is a spoken-word and electro-acoustic collaboration between Bruce McClure — a descendant of Australian bush poet Banjo Paterson, lyricist of Waltzing Matilda — and sound artist Bjørn Hatleskog. https://storytellertapes.bandcamp.com 100% of proceeds go directly to Resonance, supporting our work as an independent home for adventurous music, art, ideas and voices rarely heard elsewhere on the radio. The evening also leads into Resonance’s Big Give Christmas Challenge during the first week of December, when supporters can double their donations through match funding.
