Short Waves Presents:

\-BE LIKE MILO

BE LIKE MILO is a queer alt-pop artist transforming the sweat and strobe lights of the rave into raw, introspective anthems. Blending ‘80s synth nostalgia with high-energy electronic production, his sound sits between the emotional clarity of Robyn, the euphoric pulse of MUNA and the experimental edge of Charli xcx.

Originally writing songs on his dad’s guitar at university, Milo’s immersion in queer rave spaces reshaped his approach - pushing his music toward something more urgent, electronic, and emotionally exposed. His work now lives in the tension between release and reflection, pairing club-ready production with unapologetically vulnerable lyricism.

Building momentum with his evolving sound, BE LIKE MILO is making his mark on the live circuit with high-energy shows while growing a dedicated online audience. With his second EP 'MINI SKIRT' and a headline show on the horizon, he is carving out a distinct space in the UK’s emerging queer alt-pop scene.
