Beginner's Watercolour Workshop | Painting Seascapes

In this relaxing summer workshop, you’ll be guided through painting tranquil, expansive seascapes inspired by the calm beauty of the coast. Think gentle horizons, soft skies, and rolling blues - capturing that peaceful feeling of being by the sea.

Taking cues from artists like J.M.W. Turner, we’ll explore how to simplify the art of seascapes into approachable, beginner-friendly techniques. You’ll learn how to mix serene shades of reds and yellows and blues to evoke movement and stillness, and how to use wet-on-wet methods to softly blend sky and sea.

Eva will guide you step-by-step through watercolour techniques, colour mixing, and composition—helping you gain confidence while creating your own peaceful coastal scenes.

All materials are provided; just bring your creative spirit!

You’re in the right place. This workshop is designed for beginners, with a supportive atmosphere and relaxed pace. You’ll leave with a beautiful seascape and new skills to build on.
