Join our uplifting bellydance workshop where you’ll learn a beginner‑friendly choreography to a modern Arabic pop track, while building solid technique through isolations, fluidity and dynamic movement.

Bellydance is a captivating and expressive dance suitable for all levels, ages and body types, boosting coordination, confidence and body awareness while being fun to learn.

Meet your teacher, Shakira

Shakira is a British‑born dancer of Caribbean heritage known for her powerful technique, fluid musicality and vibrant fusion style. A specialist in Modern Egyptian bellydance, she has performed widely—from theatre productions and festivals to community shows and private events.

Her movement background includes Sega, Bollywood, Brazilian Samba and Caribbean dance, alongside extensive training in yoga, yoga therapy and martial arts such as Kengido, Tae Kwon Do, Kickboxing and Muay Thai. Passionate about accessible movement, she is also training in chair‑yoga dance to bring the joy of dance to people of all abilities.
