About The Snowman

The Snowman at Sadler's Wells Theatre is a fresh staging of Raymond Briggs’ cherished story, brought to the stage with Howard Blake’s score, including Walking In the Air. The production uses beautifully crafted puppets and follows a young boy whose snowman comes to life on Christmas Eve.

As the boy and his new friend travel together, they meet Father Christmas, a herd of friendly reindeer and enjoy a party beneath the Northern Lights. The production is directed and choreographed by Olivier award-winning Will Tuckett, with set and costume design by multi-award-winning Anna Fleischle.

This is a family show for the young and young at heart, presented as a seasonal stage adaptation of the well-known book.

Duration: 90 minutes, including one 20 minute interval.
