Wednesday evening antenatal course - book each session separately.

This course is for women and birthing people booked to give birth at Whipps Cross hospital.

Please book ONE ticket per couple (You and your support person)

Please cancel your ticket promptly if no longer required, so that someone else can book a space.

We recommend you aim to participate in these classes when you are around 30-32 weeks pregnant.

The whole course consists of 3 sessions:

Physiology of labour

Deviations from physiological labour

Postnatal period

Please book these sessions separately. Each class lasts approximately two - two and a half hours, including break.

Session 3 - Postnatal period

In this session you will learn about:

Appointments after giving birth

Postnatal care and recovery

Care of the newborn

Mental wellbeing of women/birthing people and their partners

When to seek medical advice

Safe sleeping and SIDS

Please book yourself for our Breastfeeding/Colostrum harvesting classes as well!

The course aims to be an interactive, safe space for you to ask questions and actively participate.
