About This Event

Sticks’n’Sushi will celebrate World Sake Month throughout October at Battersea Power Station. The event honours the Japanese tradition of sharing sake, where individuals pour for one another. Guests can expect sake and sashimi pairings along with rituals designed for sharing.

World Sake Day falls on 1st October. We’ve decided one day simply isn’t enough, so join Sticks’n’Sushi in celebrating for the whole month. In Japan, there’s a simple tradition: you never pour sake for yourself. You pour for the person next to you. And they pour for you. It’s a small gesture, but one that’s all about sharing and paying attention to the people around the table. Because sake isn’t only about what’s in the cup – it’s also about who you share it with. Sticks’n’Sushi are bringing that tradition to the table throughout October, with sake & sashimi pairings and Japanese rituals made for sharing.
