About Cinderella: Buttons Undone!

Cinderella: Buttons Undone! at Charing Cross Theatre is an adult pantomime written by Jon Bradfield and Martin Hooper, with songs by Jon Bradfield and direction by Andrew Beckett. Set in Lob-on-Sea, it reworks the Cinderella story around hotel maid Cindy, her stepsister boss Mercedes and a contest in which tennis champion Ivan Yassandvich chooses a bride.

The production comes from award-winning adult panto company He's Behind You! and is billed as an adult, gay fairytale pantomime. It follows Beauty and the Beast: A Horny Love Story.

Cindy is hoping to meet her prince, while her gay best friend Buttons has sworn off straight boys and insists this is not his story. The result is a story built around the resort, the hotel and the bride-choosing competition.

Runs: 21st November 2026 to 9th January 2027.
