Ways of Being is a series of social, artist-led workshops exploring the everyday experiences that shape our wellbeing, from expectations and ambition to love, community and change.
Open to all, these sessions offer a relaxed space to connect, reflect and create together.
All ticket income directly supports Creative Voices Collective’s free community mental health programmes.
SESSION 1 — EXPECTATION
This workshop explores the role expectations play in shaping our lives. Together, we’ll reflect on the pressures that influence how we live, where they come from, and how we might begin to loosen their hold.
Through discussion and creative exploration, we’ll consider how expectations intersect with identity and experience, ending the session by creating an artwork centred on letting go of perfection.
