About Death Note The Musical

Death Note The Musical at the Barbican brings the manga by Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata to London in collaboration with original producers HoriPro. The production features a score by Tony, Grammy and Emmy nominee Frank Wildhorn, with lyrics by Jack Murphy and a book by Ivan Menchell. The manga has sold over 30 million copies worldwide.

When brilliant student Light Yagami finds a notebook with the power over life and death, his attempt to reshape the world leads to a battle of wits with the elusive detective L. Every name carries consequences as the story unfolds.

Running time: approximately 2 hours 20 minutes, including a 20-minute interval.
