About Disney’s The Lion King

Disney’s The Lion King at the Lyceum Theatre, London, is Disney’s internationally celebrated musical. Reimagined by acclaimed director Julie Taymor, it brings the film to the stage in a production built around colour, effects and music.

The show follows Simba’s journey from young cub to his destined role as King of the Pridelands. It combines the familiar story with a theatrical staging that presents the production in a distinctive way.

Before you book

Age guidance: recommended for ages 6+. Children under 3, including babies in arms, will not be admitted. All visitors aged 16 or under must be accompanied by an adult and may not sit on their own in the auditorium. Every person entering the theatre needs a ticket, regardless of age. Strobe lighting is used several times during the performance.

Tickets and entry: you will receive a confirmation email. If you choose box office collection, print the confirmation and bring it on the day, at least 30 minutes before the performance starts. If you choose e-tickets, they will be sent by email for printing at home. The venue opens 90 minutes before start time, and latecomers may have to wait before being seated, which could mean missing part of the performance.
