Back by popular demand, the Riverside Sauna returns.

Enjoy all the feel-good benefits of deep heat, cold contrast, and soothing steam in this pop-up sauna session at Emerge East on Saturday 12th September. Located this year in Station Gardens, the sauna will be nestled amongst nature, while remaining close to all the action of Emerge East.

So be sure to grab a ticket to enjoy the revitalising benefits of deep heat, cold contrast, and soothing steam.

Emerge East is a free celebration of community, creativity and nature, offering an exciting day out in one of East London’s newest neighbourhoods. This year, the Barking Riverside Block Party will return, bringing the streets to life with a line-up of live music, local talent and high-energy performances, with an unforgettable headline act to close the night. Come along for a full day of music, food, art, wellness and family-friendly activities, with plenty to discover and enjoy.

Please arrive 15 minutes before your session starts. Ages 18+ only.

Capacity is limited due to the available workspace. Limited walk up spaces will be available on a first come first served basis.

Accessibility - no step free access. The saunas are not wheelchair accessible.

What to expect on the day:

After an introductory talk, you'll be guided by trained sauna experts on how to get the benefits of deep heat, cold contrast and steam as well as offerings of leaf whisking, aufguss, body treatments and more...

About Katie Bracher and Sauna Master UK

Katie Bracher aka @saunamasteruk has been on a mission to share the beauty of sweat bathing with the people of the UK since 2014. Hosting trainings and creating sauna experiences that are inspired from ancient practices from around the world.

She is at the forefront the emerging of UK sauna scene - founder and creator of the first pop-up seaside sauna concept that sparked a wave of similar businesses around the UK. She now runs Wild Spa Wowo a glorious sauna garden in the Sussex countryside and the location for her in-person trainings.

Katie's interest lies in the embodied experience, communal practice, rituals, nature and self connection that can be formed through Sauna practice. Having spent the past 14 years as a student of global bathing traditions, she is on a journey to bring these ancient traditions into our modern world
