Located in Morris+Company’s public gallery and event space, this workshop will start with a tour of the Loop Showcase, a selection of designers and businesses working in innovative ways to reuse and recycle waste materials. Following that we will hear from the exhibition designers CELLA Collective on how material reuse can be adopted into spatial design and architecture. Next, we will get to making! Loop Showcase exhibitors Studio TIP will invite you to turn real-world surplus materials, the kind that normally gets overlooked after mass production, into playful objects, artworks or even miniature building models. Offcuts, trims, odd shapes and leftovers. Guided by their Material Library, we will expand on the principles of reuse, remix and circular design through this creative workshop.
