About This Event

FCA Innovation Services will host a discussion on recent changes and future developments in financial regulation on 22nd October 2026 at the Howden UK Group in London. This event provides attendees with a unique opportunity to directly engage with the FCA and seek clarity on pressing questions, fostering valuable networking among industry professionals. Supported by partners S&W and Howden, the session aims to promote understanding and collaboration in the evolving financial landscape. Ticket prices range from free to £20.00.

A chance to directly engage with the FCA and ask those burning questions - supported by our partners S&W and Howden.

A candid and practical conversation with the FCA about how its approach to innovation is evolving and what that means for FinTech and financial services firms.

Earlier this summer, FinTech West brought the FCA to Bristol for a packed and highly interactive session looking at what had changed in regulation and innovation over the previous year.

Now we’re bringing the conversation to London.

This isn’t intended to be another presentation-heavy regulatory briefing. The format that worked so well in Bristol was much more conversational: direct access to the FCA team, practical information about the support available to firms and plenty of opportunity for the people in the room to ask questions, challenge thinking and share their own experiences.

The FCA’s approach to supporting innovation continues to evolve, covering firms from early-stage ideas through to established businesses developing and deploying new products and technologies.

We’ll explore what has changed, what support is now available and what the FCA is seeing across the market. Most importantly, there will be plenty of opportunity for discussion and questions.

Who should attend?

This session is relevant to anyone involved in the development, adoption or regulation of financial technology from any area including founders, financial services and professional services. Essentially, anyone interested in understanding how the FCA is approaching innovation in practice
