Baba Yaga's Hut presents:

France at New River Studios, February 12th and 13th

This is a ticket for night 1, February 12th, a two show pass at a discounted rate is available too.

Legendary hurdy-gurdy-powered kraut/psych/folk/drone band France.

Forming 20 years ago as a trio in Valence, France, Jeremie Sauvage on bass, Yann Gourdon on electrified hurdy-gurdy, and Mathieu Tilly on drums.

Known for their immersive, trance-inducing live sets the band creates a slow-burning physical and mental experience that bridges ancient folk textures with exploratory drone and krautrock cycles, in the spirit of the hypnotic, minimalist collaborative work of Tony Conrad and Faust (Outside the Dream Syndicate), driven by Gourdon's explosive and highly volatile approach to the hurdy-gurdy. Their overarching creative mindset focuses on community, motion, and unity through heavy, altered sonic states

“France absolutely engage the body... but the spectacle is one for your mind, especially as you start to wonder how much of what you’re hearing is really there.” The Quietus
