From The Heart at the Garrick Theatre, London, is Don Black’s personal tribute to the New York cabaret scene that has shaped his career. Following a sell-out run, the Oscar-winning lyricist returns to the West End with a revised and expanded production that brings together new songs and well-known favourites.

The show plays a strictly limited run of 15 performances this October. It features brand new songs written with composers including Gary Barlow, Natasha Bedingfield, David Arnold, Debbie Wiseman and Mike Batt, alongside songs and stories from Don Black’s long career across film, TV and theatre.

Starring Olivier Award winner Clive Rowe and Caroline O’Connor, the production also includes a surprise special guest at every performance. The evening ends with a medley of Don Black songs including Born Free, Ben, Love Changes Everything, With One Look, To Sir With Love and As If We Never Said Goodbye, plus a salute to his James Bond themes.

Duration: 80 minutes, no interval.

Age guidance: recommended for ages 8 and over.
