On 24 June 2026, twin earthquakes measuring 7.2 and 7.5 in magnitude struck Venezuela just seconds apart. It was one of the worst natural disasters the country has experienced in over a century. The 2026 Venezuela Earthquake left more than 6,000 people confirmed dead, over 60,000 treated in hospitals, and tens of thousands remain missing. Nearly 44,000 households have been destroyed. The road to recovery will be long.

Join us at The London Art Bar on Saturday 26 September for a fundraising evening in aid of the DEC Venezuela Earthquake Appeal - an evening of acoustic Venezuelan music and a charity quiz night. This event is co-produced by Gareth Lewis Events and Bruno Miranda.

Net proceeds go to the DEC Venezuela Earthquake Appeal:

£10 provides essential hygiene supplies to a family to prevent illness

£50 provides emergency food support to two families for a week

£100 provides shelter kits for six families whose homes have been destroyed
