Put on a red dress. Put on your trainers. Come to Greenwich Park. That is the whole instruction.

Red Dress Run is our fifth Colour Walks event — a 5K fun run, jog, walk, or strut through one of London's most magnificent parks, finishing at the top of the hill with the city laid out behind us.

Here's what's happening:

We meet at the Blackheath Gate at 10am. We move together through the park — at whatever pace works for your body on that day. No timing. No competition. No one is left behind. We finish at the top of the hill for the group photo, the view, and the celebration.

THE FINISH LINE MOMENT

At the top of Greenwich Hill, the view of Canary Wharf, the Thames, and the London skyline is extraordinary. This is where we stop, hold our ribbon across the finish line, and take the photo that will define Go Inspire London's summer. A hundred women in red dresses on a hill above London. Nothing like it.

THE DRESS CODE — READ THIS CAREFULLY

A red dress, red skirt, red jumpsuit, or red co-ords. And trainers. You must be in footwear you can actually move in. Heels: absolutely not. Everything else about the red is up to you.

THE OPTIONAL CHARITY LAYER

Want to raise money while you run? Set up a JustGiving page for a women's charity of your choice and share your link with friends before the event. Go Inspire will share a list of suggested women's charities in the event updates. No pressure — the run is free and beautiful either way.

CAN I WALK THE WHOLE THING?

Yes. Completely. This is not a race. There is no prize for being fast. There is a lot of love for showing up in a red dress on a Saturday morning and moving your body through a beautiful park with a hundred other women.

WHO IS THIS FOR?

Women who run. Women who used to run. Women who have never run and would like to try. Women who will walk the whole thing in a red dress and enjoy every single step. All of you.
