About Globe Theatre Tours 2026

Globe Theatre Tours 2026 at the Globe Theatre forms part of Shakespeare’s Globe Story & Tour, taking you into Shakespeare’s London and inside the theatre itself. The experience combines a 50 minute guided tour with time in the exhibition space, giving a clear introduction to the building, its history and its stagecraft.

The brand-new walk-through exhibition space explores more than 400 years of Shakespeare’s London through sights, sounds and stories. Seasonal displays revisit some of the venue’s most well-known shows, while interactive costumes and props give you the chance to get ready for the stage yourself.

Expert guides bring the story of the iconic wooden ‘O’ to life, including the history of the original 1599 theatre, which survived plague, fire and political oppression before being rebuilt in the 1990s as part of one man’s radical vision.

Duration: Approximately 2 hours, including a 50 minute guided tour and self-guided time in the exhibition space. Language: All tours are in English. Suitability: Suitable for all ages.
