About Globe Theatre Tours 2026

Globe Theatre Tours 2026 at the Globe Theatre is part of Shakespeare’s Globe Story & Tour. The experience takes you into Shakespeare’s London through a new walk-through exhibition space, where you can explore more than 400 years of history, see seasonally curated displays and try interactive costumes and props.

You will also go inside the Globe Theatre itself with an expert Guide, who brings the story of the theatre to life. The tour covers the original 1599 theatre, its survival through plague, fire and political oppression, and its return in the 1990s.

Key facts: approximately 2 hours in total, including a 50 minute guided tour and self-guided time in the exhibition space.

Before you book

The tour is suitable for all ages and all tours are in English. Information sheets are available in a number of languages. As this is an open-air theatre, tours go ahead in all conditions, so dress for the weather. No exchanges or refunds are available after purchase.
