Good Game Dev Club is a pay-if-you-want monthly games industry meetup which takes place at Loading Bar in Dalston, London. The event is aimed at anyone who works in the games industry, or is trying to break in. Its open to anyone to make friends and help the community to be a good place to exist in.

If you're developing a game and would like people to playtest, please feel free to bring along your laptop and you can setup in one of the booths. Each has a plug socket below the seat.

SPEAKER - Ed Sibley, Studio Head @ Whetstone Games

Given that I'm running the event now, I thought it would be nice to start things off by giving a talk myself! I'm a ten-year industry veteran with all kinds of weird credits. This year, I founded Whetstone Games, and in July, we released OFFBEAT, a music tycoon game that's recieved widespread acclaim. I want to talk about my approach to Indie development and share some lessons I've learned so far.
