About This Event

On Saturday 17 October 2026, the Royal Foundation of St. Katharine in London will host a quiet day led by Grace Owen, centred on the theme of Nature Encounters. This community event invites participants to explore what encounters with the natural world can reveal about God, drawing inspiration from the biblical passage in Matthew 6: ‘Look at the birds of the air. Consider the lilies of the field.’ Beginning at 10:15am, the day is structured around observation and reflection, encouraging attendees to consider how birds, plants, and other elements of the natural environment can deepen spiritual understanding. Grace Owen will guide the group through these themes, fostering a contemplative atmosphere throughout the session. The event is priced between £45 and £135, depending on the booking option selected, making it accessible to a range of participants. This gathering offers a unique opportunity to step back from daily routines and engage with faith through the quiet wisdom of the natural world.
