Our home education sessions will help your child develop a range of practical and social skills, whilst learning about wildlife.

In relaxed outdoor settings, we run a number of home education groups where children can be themselves and work together to develop social skills and to foster a deep understanding of wildlife and a love of the natural world. Activities may include den building, woodland crafts, using tools, and fire lighting.

The sessions run weekly during term time—Every Wednesday from 16 September to 21 October (6 weeks)

The 1-week ticket is available for 23 September only.

FAQs

🎫 Who needs a ticket to attend?

Home Education at Grange Farm is suitable for school-aged children. Siblings under 4 years are very welcome to attend, but they do not require a ticket.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Do you offer a sibling discount?

Yes. We offer a 10% discount on sibling tickets for Home Education block sessions

📍Where do we meet?

Meeting instructions will be sent on booking. Please Park in the Pelican Playground car park and follow the signs to the meeting point just inside the meadow.

🌳Will the activities take place outside?

Yes and we will be outside for the whole session.

🌍Where are you based?

We are located in Chigwell, close to Loughton, Debden, and Epping.

🚗Is there parking?

Yes, we have two large free car parks

🥾What should we wear?

Please dress for being outside - lots of layers. If it has been raining, the paths will be muddy and have lots of puddles, so wellies or boots are advised.

🚻Are there toilets?

Yes, the Grange Farm Centre has toilets. There are no other facilities on site.

☕ Is there a café or a shop?

There is not a café or a shop at Grange farm, but you are more than welcome to bring snacks with you ( please no nuts).

🐕‍🦺Can we bring a dog?

Assistance dogs are welcome at our events.
