Walk length 5miles/8km approx. Linear. A chance for a short walk to celebrate a significant day... The Gunpowder Plot was an attempt to assassinate King James I during the Opening of Parliament in November 1605, it is celebrated today by bonfire night and we may see some fireworks from public or private displays along the Thames. We will follow the Regents Canal from Camden to Paddington Basin with a short stop at Primrose Hill for a chance to see fireworks over the city skyline... This is a FREE walk. Meeting Outside Camden Town Underground from 6.15pm for the walk to start at 6.30pm. (see photo above).
