About This Event

The 2nd Row Comedy New Act night returns to The Birdcage on 2 December 2026, offering Hackney residents a chance to see emerging talent refine their craft alongside seasoned performers polishing material for larger stages. This Wednesday evening showcase provides an intimate setting where newer acts hone their skills while more established comedians prepare jokes for bigger venues. Attendees are invited to arrive early for a drink or meal at the bar before settling in for the show, which runs every week as part of this regular series.
