About Harry Potter and The Cursed Child
Harry Potter and the Cursed Child at the Palace Theatre is a stage play based on an original new story by J.K. Rowling, Jack Thorne and John Tiffany. Set 19 years after Harry, Ron and Hermione saved the wizarding world, it follows Harry’s youngest son Albus as he struggles with the weight of a family legacy at Hogwarts, while past and present begin to collide.
First staged in London’s West End in summer 2016, the production is described as the most awarded play in history and the most awarded West End play in the history of the Olivier Awards. It won a record-breaking nine Olivier Awards in 2017, including Best New Play and Best Director.
Duration: 2 hours 55 minutes, including one 20 minute interval.
Before you book
Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is recommended for children aged 8+. All persons entering the theatre, regardless of age, must have a ticket. Children under 5 are not permitted, Babes in Arms are not admitted to the auditorium, and patrons under 15 must be accompanied by an adult.
