A therapeutic Gong Bath at the turn of Jupiter in a historic venue in the heart of the West End, London

You are warmly invited to join us and immerse yourself in the healing sounds of a therapeutic Gong Bath, right the heart of London.

On the 6th October, the Moon will pass in front of Jupiter - a moment inviting us to pause, turn inward and listen beyond the noise of everyday. We will gather to honour this transition at the at the historic Vestry House, located at the beautiful St-Giles-in-the-Fields.

Tucked away in the heart of London’s vibrant West End, a stone’s throw from Tottenham Court Road station, the Vestry House at St Giles in the Fields, stands as a testament to history and community. For nearly 300 years since 1734, this distinguished venue has been a cherished hub for gathering.

ABOUT

Liz and Maddy will guide you on an expansive journey into therapeutic sound with the use of Jupiter and Chau gongs, himalayan and crystal bowls and other therapeutic instruments. These instruments encourage your brainwaves to quieten down and you may experience altered states of consciousness, promoting a sense of deep recharge.

Sound-based meditation can promote relaxation, reduce perceived stress and anxiety, and support a calmer state of mind. You will leave feeling deeply rested, restored and ready to face the city again.

Everyone is welcome, you do not need to have any knowledge or experience with sound baths or meditation.

WHAT TO BRING:

Please bring a yoga mat or cushions to lie down on so that you are comfortable. Chairs are available within the room.

You will be laid still for a while so please bring additional layers if you need to ensure that you are as comfortable as possible.

LOCATION AND ARRIVAL:

The session will be held at the Vestry House at St Giles-in-the-fields church, St Giles High St, London WC2H 8DH

Please aim to arrive 5-10 minutes before the session begins.

IMPORTANT: Please note, a Gong Bath is not recommended for those who suffer from epilepsy, advanced cancer, or severe mental health conditions, nor for those with a pacemaker, metal plates, or implants. It is also generally advised against during the first trimester of pregnancy. If in doubt, please consult your GP before booking.
