About High School Musical

High School Musical at Troubadour Wembley Park Theatre celebrates 20 years since Disney’s HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL became a global sensation. The show follows Troy, Gabriella and the students of East High as they navigate first love, friendships and self-discovery alongside classes, basketball games, auditions and the expectations of their peers.

The production uses extended staging and on-stage seating to create an East High setting within the Troubadour stage. It includes songs from the original film, such as Breaking Free, Get’cha Head in the Game, Stick to the Status Quo and We’re All In This Together.

It is co-directed by Hope Mill Theatre founders Joseph Houston and William Whelton, with choreography by Aaron Renfree, a book by David Simpatico, and music adapted, arranged and produced by Bryan Louiselle.

This show is suitable for ages 6+. All children under 16 must have a valid ticket and be accompanied by, and seated with, an adult.

Harry Judd (McFly) stars as Coach Bolton, alongside original HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL film cast member KayCee Stroh as Ms Darbus. Tobias Turley plays Troy, Leonor Correia plays Gabriella, Caitlin Tipping plays Sharpay and Luke Bayer plays Ryan.
