About High School Musical

High School Musical at Troubadour Wembley Park Theatre celebrates 20 years since Disney’s High School Musical became a global sensation. The story follows Troy, Gabriella and the students of East High as they balance first love, friendship and self-discovery with classes, basketball, auditions and peer pressure.

This new production is co-directed by Hope Mill Theatre founders Joseph Houston and William Whelton, with choreography by Aaron Renfree, a book by David Simpatico, and music adapted, arranged and produced by Bryan Louiselle. It features extended staging and on-stage seating designed to place the audience in the middle of the action.

Harry Judd stars as Coach Bolton, alongside original High School Musical film cast member KayCee Stroh as Ms Darbus, with Tobias Turley, Leonor Correia, Caitlin Tipping and Luke Bayer as Troy, Gabriella, Sharpay and Ryan. The show includes songs from the original movie such as Breaking Free, Get’cha Head in the Game, Stick to the Status Quo and We’re All In This Together.

Key facts: Suitable for ages 6+. Signed/Captioned performance: Wednesday 11th November at 7:30pm. Audio Described performance: Wednesday 18th November at 7:30pm.
