**Any Questions WhatsApp Gary 07968585224** Starting from **Datchet Station**, this beautiful and historic hike follows the Thames towards **Runnymede**, one of the most important historic sites in England. It was here in **1215** that **King John sealed the Magna Carta**, the document that placed limits on royal power and helped shape the development of modern democracy. From Runnymede, we climb through woodland before entering the magnificent **Windsor Great Park**, hiking through ancient oak trees, open parkland and rolling countryside. We’ll then join the famous **Long Walk**, with superb views towards **Windsor Castle** as we make our way into Windsor. **Windsor Castle** has been a royal residence for almost 1,000 years, while the surrounding Great Park was once the traditional hunting ground of generations of kings and queens.
