The Hop-On Hop-Off London City Sampler is a City Sightseeing bus tour in London with more than 25 carefully selected stops across two routes. It provides a flexible way to see major sights including Tower Bridge, the Tower of London, Victoria Embankment, Buckingham Palace, Hyde Park, Marble Arch, Haymarket and Pall Mall East for Trafalgar Square.

The tour includes audio commentary in 11 languages and runs all year round, except on 25 December. It gives you the option to travel at your own pace and choose from the red route and green shuttle service.

Ticket options include a 24-hour City Sampler ticket with Royal London Walk, a 24-hour hop-on hop-off ticket with river cruise and Royal London Walking Tour, and a 48-hour hop-on hop-off ticket with river cruise and City Pack of 5 Walks.

Key facts: More than 25 stops across 2 routes; red route runs from 8.30am to 5.20pm every 10-20 minutes, with a full loop taking 150 minutes; green shuttle runs from 8.55am to 3.55pm every 35 minutes, with a full loop taking 35 minutes.

Before you book

Your ticket is delivered as an e-ticket. Free cancellation is available up to 24 hours before your chosen travel date. You can start your journey at any stop. The first buses are from Westminster Bridge at 8.25am, Tower Hill at 8.44am, Buckingham Palace Gate at 8.58am and Haymarket at 9.03am.

The red route also has later departures from stop 1 with final stops at Tower Hill, Haymarket and Grosvenor Gardens, so it is worth checking the timetable when planning your day.
