We’ll hear from the Brixton Traders & Community Association and The Advocacy Academy, the driving forces behind Buy Back Brixton, a campaign to bring Brixton Village and Market Row into community ownership. After mobilising traders, young people and local residents around an ambitious vision for the markets, the campaign has emerged as the preferred buyer in a major step towards community ownership.

We’ll unpack how they built support, mobilised their community and made their case, as well as the communications that helped bring the campaign to life.
