We're delighted to be back at our favourite London venue, SJQ . One show per month in Sept/Oct/Nov with James Howard in residency and choosing the line-ups.  We start on 16th of September with:  Sophie Jamieson — a voice that can shift from the most delicate tenderness to the most fearsome power in the time it takes one heartbeat to meet another.  I still want to share  LP (Bella Union) is a warm, yearning record that searches for connection and interrogates life in all its beautiful and ugly forms. Rumours are there will be new songs on show... No — anti-ballads from Brian Wilson's bastard son, this is the new project from Jamie Lee (whose earlier project, Money, was deeply treasured). He has some disciples, and we are among their number. These boots were made for quaking... James Howard — opening the evening with a short set of new songs even slower than the last. James's debut  Peek-a-Boo , was described by Pete Paphides as a “twinkling glitterball in an abandoned dancehall.” Since then, he's been playing live with artists like Kate Bollinger and Rozi Plain and producing EPs by Joe Chilton and No.  We'll have Clémentine March on the records, cds, and mp3s, playing tunes from all corners of her deep and eclectic love of music in all its forms.  Make sure you come to this one so you can complete the trilogy !  £11 ADV £16 OTD
