Learn Blender from scratch — model, add materials, light and render. For complete beginners or anyone switching from another 3D program. This hands-on workshop is for complete beginners who want to get started with Blender (or are moving from one 3D program to another), the free and open-source 3D software used across design, art, product, architecture, fashion, science, engineering, animation, film-making, and more. You'll learn how to navigate Blender's interface, learn to model, apply materials, and set up lighting to produce a finished render you can take away. 3D skills open doors across almost every creative field — whether you need visuals for a presentation, a model ready for 3D printing, or a starting point for more advanced work in sculpting, simulations, or photorealistic lighting. This workshop gives you the foundation to keep exploring. What to bring: A laptop with the latest version of Blender installed (free from blender.org) and a mouse with a scroll wheel.
