On November 25, 2026 at 7:30 PM, the stage of Theatre Royal Drury Lane in London will come alive with the dramatic power of "Jesus Christ Superstar," a production that has been captivating audiences since its debut in 1971. Featuring an ensemble cast that brings to life the timeless story of Jesus and His disciples, this live theatre event promises an immersive experience where the stories of the Bible are brought vividly to life through the artistry of music and performance.

About Jesus Christ Superstar

Jesus Christ Superstar at Theatre Royal Drury Lane is the award-winning Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre production of Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber’s rock musical. It follows the last days of Jesus Christ through Judas’s eyes, with a score that includes I Don’t Know How to Love Him, Gethsemane and Superstar.

The production has extended to Theatre Royal Drury Lane following record-breaking demand for the summer season at The London Palladium.

Key facts: Directed by Tim Sheader, with choreography by Olivier Award-winner Drew McOnie and design by Tony and Olivier Award-winner Tom Scutt.
