About Julius Caesar 2027

Julius Caesar 2027 is staged at the Sam Wanamaker Playhouse, in the intimate, candlelit setting of the theatre. Shakespeare’s political thriller places you among the citizens of Rome as loyalties are tested.

In the Senate, a murderous plot forms around the rising power of Julius Caesar. As public opinion shifts, the conflict escalates into political infighting and then civil war.

Key facts: Directed by Joe Hill-Gibbins, who returns to the Sam Wanamaker Playhouse after Ghosts.
